Strongpoint CrossFit is located on the south end of Jacksonville, easily accessible via I-95, I-295 and Phillips Highway. We are just 2 miles south of Avenues Mall in Mandarin and 10 minutes south of the St. Johns Town Center and University of North Florida. We are passionate about health and fitness and it shows in the dedication, education and knowledge of our world class coaches. Our collective goal is to get you healthier and fitter with each and every workout. Our coaches are certified by CrossFit, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and complete a rigorous Instructor Training Program before standing in front of our members. Members of our staff also hold certifications in the specialty domains traditionally incorporated into CrossFit such as Kettlebells, Endurance, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Movement and Mobility, and Indoor Rowing. We have three USA Weightlifting Club Coaches and a Yoga instructor on staff. Rest assured; we know our stuff!
Our multi-faceted, 5,200 square-foot facility allows for varied and functional workout programming. Our facility is state-of-the-art with enough space and equipment to comfortably support our classes, but not in the way of your typical big-box gyms. We do not have ellipticals, treadmills, or weight machines. We use your body and real weights to create free, natural movement. We only have machines that mimic functional movement and none of those that do not contribute to overall health and a lean, conditioned body. We welcome you to take a look around our box and our equipment suite. You won’t see a lot of mirrors, but you will see results in your own mirror and in the fit of your clothes when you make the move to functional fitness.
We coach movements and exercises that are natural and fundamental to human physiology and musculoskeletal health. What separates us from your typical gym experience is that our workouts are not at all typical. We strip away the non-functional machinery and teach body mechanics and awareness. We ensure that you get the best and most effective training by coaching you through the foundational exercises and gradually increasing difficulty and intensity. The workouts are rarely the same, but designed to elicit a hormonal response with every workout guaranteeing that you will see steady, sustainable progress. We combine these workouts with nutritional guidance to achieve each athlete’s optimal body composition and health.
We offer more than 30 group classes at convenient times throughout the week and offer Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit Endurance, and Yoga classes to round out our members’ experience. One-on-one sessions are also available.
Strongpoint has members that serve as an in-house massage therapist, Krissy Klingler (LMT) and chiropractor, Dr. Rhett Butler, DC that are our first line of defense for basic body maintenance and recovery. They both follow the program and know exactly what you are feeling! We also have strong relationships with several physical therapy providers in the area.
