Brian Carroll “Strength for a Lifetime” Seminar
Join us for this six-hour seminar with Brian Carroll designed specifically to help CrossFitters improve their strength and barbell work. Brian is one of the most accomplished powerlifters in competitive history holding the third-best total ever at 2,730 pounds and all-time top ten totals in three separate weight classes. He is also a former world record holder in the squat with a 1,185 effort at 275 body weight.
This seminar will focus on evaluating lifts, identifying and addressing weaknesses, and building efficiency to improve performance, decrease injury, and add longevity. Brian will also delve into effective warm up planning, mobility, and how day-to-day posture and movements influence gym performance.
Brian will be assisted by three coaches from his gym to ensure that each participant in the seminar gets individualized attention. His coaching staff will consist of Jonathan Byrd (1,000# squatter and pro football player), Clint Smith (800# bench press), and Adam Driggers (965# squat at 220),
The seminar will be broken down into two parts consisting of three hours of classroom in the morning and three hours of practical application in the squat, bench press, and deadlift in the afternoon. There will be an hour break for lunch between sessions.
